Dreams...

Does the Lord ever speak to you in dreams? It has happened to me a few times in my life. I talked about the after school program in one of my last posts. It's part of the 2five2 program which is designed to reach out to kids in the neighborhood and give them an opportunity to learn English at a really cheap price. Well, I decided that I was too busy to do it. I prayed about it, but never got a real answer from the Lord. So, from past experiences in my life, I thought it would be better for me to say "no", at least for now. Well, the class started Monday, and I actually went to the first class. The next day, I told them that I just couldn't do it anymore. That was Tuesday, and that night I had a dream about those kids. You see, many of these kids don't know Jesus, and I can't seem to get them out of my head. I tried to ignore the dream, but I soon realized that it wasn't just a coincidence, but it was the Lord. He has laid these kids on my heart, and I can't shake it. I have decided to help one day a week, maybe two. The kids are so great, and they love me just because I'm from America :). I'm excited to see what God is going to do. I know He has great purpose in this, and I'm excited to be a part of it. And, I love hearing the Lord speak. I wish it was always that clear :).
