Soccer...

It's Saturday morning, and I just finished playing pick-up basketball followed by pick-up soccer with some teachers and students here at the school.  What a blast!  Geez, I love to play soccer.  We played soccer in the gym, because the students don't like to play in the sun.  Unlike Americans, people here don't like to get darker skin.  It cracks me up.  No one is ever satisfied with their skin color wherever you go.  We either pay tons of money to get darker skin, while others avoid the sun at all costs to stay white.  Bizarre!  So, I think I forgot to mention that I will be coaching the middle school and high school girls soccer teams.  I guess they will compete against a few other schools in the area.  I'm so excited.  I think I will also be helping with the middle school girls basketball team.  I guess the school goes by three seasons.  Basketball will be the first season, middle school soccer the second season, and high school soccer the third season.  Anyway, I'm excited about these opportunities.  They will be another great learning experience, lol.  The Lord continues to put me in positions that I have never been before.  I seem to see a theme here. :)
