The mysterious exotic fruit... "ATIS"

After some research, I found the mysterious exotic fruit to be called "ATIS".  It is a tropical fruit grown in the Philipines and other countries with the same type of climate.  The atis fruit has a scaly skin.  The fruit is almost round and about 10 cm wide.  It is sometimes called a 'sugar apple.'  The taste of the flesh of the fruit is slightly sweet and soft.  There are many black seeds scattered throughout the fruit.  Anyway, next time you visit a tropical country be sure to try the "ATIS".
