Who Am I?
Do you ever ask yourself this question? Who am I? Well, I do. I often find my identity in what I do or what I'm good at. I'm a caseworker, I'm a teacher, I'm a doctor, I'm a nurse, Im a missionary, I'm a pastor, I'm a soccer player, I'm a softball player, I'm a musician, I'm an aunt, and so on. That is not who I am though. I Peter 2:9 says exactly who I am. "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.". We are a people for his own possession (that's a cool thought!). I am His and I am called to proclaim His excellencies in all that I do, whether I'm playing soccer or teaching in a classroom.
