Love Extravagently...

Great word, Extravagently! One of my co-workers used this word the other day. I looked up the definition and it means, "exceeding reasonable bounds." This is exactly how God loves us, and it doesn't make much sense.  I want to love people in way that doesn't make sense, especially my students. For the 1st and 2nd graders, the Lord is teaching me how to love them well. Combining discipline with mercy and finding the right balance is quite a challenge. I love all my students, but to love them extravagantly as God does, can only be done by walking in the Spirit.
