Hangin' with Max...

So, I've been eating lunch with some first graders. One kid in particular is named Max. He has to sit by himself during lunch, because he talks to much and doesn't ever finish his lunch. Last week, I asked Max if I could eat lunch with him. Now, every day I go to lunch, Max finds me and says, "Ms. B, will you come eat lunch with me?" How can I say no to that? So cute!!! Today, as we were finishing lunch, our conversation went something like this:

Max asked, "Are you going downstairs for recess time."

I replied, "I have to go get ready for PE first, and then I will come down."

Max looked at me for a second and asked, "Ms. B, are you a girl?".

Laughing on the inside, I replied, "Yes".

Max replied, "Yes! I knew it!"

So funny!!!! I've been teaching Max in first grade PE for 6 months now, and he just now confirmed his assumptions that his teacher is a girl.

Please pray for Max, that he would come to know Jesus at an early age.
