WHAT DO YOU HOPE FOR?

I hope to see God move! It's so exciting to see God at work in people around me. So, I've posted about a friend of ours named Srey Mom. She works at a restaurant across the street from our house, called Kiwi. We have been visiting her once a week for about 6 months. The Lord has truly been working on her heart the last few months. Shiela and I have had some good conversations with her about Jesus. We gave her a Bible a couple of months ago, and she says she has been reading it. So.... A few nights ago, we went to dinner and visited Srey Mom. As she was taking our order, she said, "I went to church yesterday". Shiela and I were in shock. She visited a church where some one explained the gospel in her language. She told us, "I think I really believe it". Wow, that's so cool! God moved and brought salvation right before our eyes, and we didn't do anything. God let us be a part of something real, something much bigger than us. Srey Mom said that she wants to go to church to learn more about the Bible and what it means to be a Christian. We talked to her tonight about going to a Cambodian church next week, because it will be in her language. Please pray for Srey Mom. This time is so important. Pray that the Lord becomes so real in her life and a firm foundation is built in her heart, so much so that she will never turn back. Thank you for the prayers that you have already lifted up on behalf of our friend. God is answering them!!!!
