FRIDAY!!!

Whew, it's Friday! I can already tell you that Fridays are always going to bring a sigh of relief. I survived the first week of school, and I think my students survived me too :). All of my students are so gracious! They have been very kind to me on this first week. I'm already falling in love with them! One of my co-workers who has been teaching for quite some time has often reminded us as teachers that God hand picks the students to be in each one of our classes each year. I agree with her! How cool is that? God puts the exact people in your life at the exact right time. They are a gift from God! We have an amazing swimming pool at our school. Actually, God has blessed us with an amazing school. I've been swimming a few times. The pool is a great stress reliever and great for exercise. There is another P.E. teacher, Emilie, who I am working alongside. She has been a blessing and a great source of P.E. knowledge. I'm thankful for her. She has also put together some intense swimming workouts for us :). Like running with someone pushes you to run faster, swimming does the same thing! Oh, and it's hot here, so the pool is COOL.
