Traffic...

So, traffic is semi-organized here :). There are traffic lights and "most" people stop when it's red. Defensive driving is strongly encouraged :). Please pray for my daily journey to and from school. I've got the ride down to 30 minutes each way. On a bike, I can weave in and out of traffic pretty quickly, but I have to always be on the lookout for the occasional moto or car going the wrong direction. The biggest challenge are the intersections. Some of them have stoplight or stop signs, but most don't (like the first picture below). So, it becomes a game of whoever can get into intersection first has the right of way. It can turn into a traffic jam really quickly (like the second picture below). When it doesn't make sense in my American mind that demands order, I try to remember that what's normal for me might be far from normal for others.
