The TURF is here...

So, today the turf was brought in and rolled out. It isn't finished yet, but the kids are already loving it :). As you can see the first picture shows the fuel in layers of sand and dirt which turned to concrete and now the turf. The little black rubber dots still have to go in as a filling. If any of you have played on a turf field you will know exactly what I'm talking about. You end up with them in your shoes, in your car, in your house, and in the most random places. They get everywhere! Anyway, the whole school is excited for it to be finished.

This is a picture of the sand of the field under construction.  It went from grass, to sand and dirt, to concrete, and now we have turf!  It's been fun to watch the process, and it's only taken about 6 weeks.
