THE CROSS IS TOO MUCH TO MAKE SENSE OF.  IT'S A SCANDAL OF GRACE.  A SCANDAL IS A PUBLIC EVENT THAT BRINGS ABOUT DISGRACE OR OFFENDS THE MORAL SENSIBILITIES OF SOCIETY.  IN OUR WORLD, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE THAT A PERFECT GOD WOULD DIE FOR A WRETCHED, SINFUL PEOPLE.  DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?  YOUR POWER IS AS DEAD AS MY SIN!  THE CROSS HAS TAUGHT ME TO LIVE.  BECAUSE JESUS IS ALIVE, I WILL GO FROM LIFE TO LIFE!  THERE WILL BE NO DEATH!
