Me

Take a break from all the plans that you have made and sit alone at home and wait for God to whisper. Beg Him please to open up His mouth and speak and pray for real upon your knees until they blister... Jimmy Needham

PEACE...

So I showed up to school this morning around 6:45, because our senior class has a group of students who meet together for prayer.  Around 7:30, we found that school has been cancelled due to some violence during the protests last night, but the students continue to worship and pray for Cambodia.  I'm greatly encouraged by their faith!

When I arrived back to Cambodia a couple months ago, the elections were underway.  The results have caused quite a ruckus among the people of this country.  There have been a series of protests which started yesterday, and they are planned to last through tomorrow.  The city has been on lock down, meaning it is very difficult to enter and leave the city.  There has been some clashing and un-wanted violence out on the streets.  Please pray for protection for all the people out on the streets.  Please pray for the local believers, that God will give them wisdom and discernment in dealing with these events.  Please pray for the leaders of this country, that God would give them wisdom beyond their understanding.  God is control of the chaos, and God is still on his throne!    Pray for peace....

This website might catch you up to speed on some of the events, but do take the information with a grain of salt.        http://www.aljazeera.com/news/asia-pacific/2013/09/20139154287593139.html

Psalm 46:  God Is Our Fortress

1.           God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
    though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
    though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
    the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
    God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
    he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
Come, behold the works of the Lord,
    how he has brought desolations on the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
    he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
    he burns the chariots with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth!”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
