Me

Take a break from all the plans that you have made and sit alone at home and wait for God to whisper. Beg Him please to open up His mouth and speak and pray for real upon your knees until they blister... Jimmy Needham

More of Psalm 46...

You should always keep reading when you find a verse that speaks to you, lol.  I blogged about Psalm 46 a couple of days ago.  It speaks of God being our refuge and ever present help in trouble when the world is crashing in around us.  Verse 4-5 goes on to say this, "There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.  God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns."  That's us!!! God is in the midst of us, and we shall not be moved, and He will help us when the morning dawns.  Wow....  That should give us so much hope and cause us never to doubt.  Lol, that is if we weren't forgetful, right?  Why is it that when it comes to promises from the Lord, we are so apt to forget them quickly?  Friends, we are in a battle.  The enemy's greatest strategy is to cause us to forget the truth.  DON'T LOSE HOPE AND KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE KING!

Day 3 of the first week of school is complete...  What can I say?  I do my best, keep looking forward, and ask the Lord to help me love the students well (at least I can do that).  At the end of each day, I just give it back to the Lord and ask Him to accomplish what He wills.

  1. Hi friend! I'm following along over here, and I have been so excited at how consistently you are blogging! LOVE it. I look forward to reading it each time. You inspire me on many levels - one, to blog more regularly, especially when I get to Chad, and two, to get back to my relationship with the Lord. It's been a huge struggle these past months. Will you pray for me if you think of it? You're writings are giving me more of a thirst to "get back with it." :) So, thanks! Keep us updated on everything... I'm loving it!
