Teacher's Retreat...

We had a teacher's retreat at the beach a couple of weeks ago.  All of the teachers and their families went to the beach and hung out for a couple of days.  There were Cambodian teachers, foreign teachers, and teachers' families.  It kind of felt like we were at camp. :)  It was a good, refreshing weekend.  The speakers spoke about hospitality and how that ties in with our faith.  It was really good. I often just think of hospitality as a gift that some people have and are really good at. However, I think God has called all of us as believers to extend hospitality to our brothers and sisters and to the list. Through hospitality, we are inviting the stranger into our lives and giving them a glimpse of who Jesus is in our lives. Jesus practiced hospitality all the time. He was constantly inviting strangers, into His world, into grace!!! We should do the same. It's hard when we get busy and we think we are entitled to our free time and to our own space. They will know us by our love, even in the midst of our busy, chaotic lives.
